Printability

Lynx® runs extremely well and is compatible with a variety of printing equipment, great for home/office printers! Lynx® is engineered for traditional offset printing, offering smooth runnability and vivid color reproduction. It performs well on sheet-fed printers and presses, making it ideal for high-volume commercial jobs like brochures, catalogs and direct mail. 

Lynx® is especially engineered for high-performance output on the most popular digital presses. Lynx® is compatible with standard office laser and inkjet printers, check your owner’s manual for heavier text and cover weights. It is an ideal choice for short-run jobs, data printing, and print-on-demand applications.

Appearance and Texture

Lynx has an elegant smooth surface that assures the ink will lay consistent throughout the sheet. Lynx’s brightness factor is an astounding 96 rating. The stunning brightness enhances contrast and ensures that colors appear vibrant.  

Whether used for marketing materials or high-end printing projects, Lynx’s breathtaking brightness helps deliver sharp images and crisp text, making it ideal for printing projects that demand visual impact! The brilliant true-white shade combined with its brightness produces true-to-life skin tones and enhances vivid colors.  Not only is the brightness factor amazing, Lynx® also boasts excellent opacity, minimizing show-through and allowing double-sided printing without compromising readability or aesthetics. 

Depending on weight, opacity ratings for Lynx® ranges from 86 – 99. Heavier weights offer near-total opacity. This feature is particularly valuable for applications like financial documents and other printing projects where clarity and professionalism are paramount. The combination of these three attributes makes the colors pop right off the page; images will appear crisp, making your design exciting and fresh!

Environmental Attributes 

Lynx® is FSC, SFI certified, and Rainforest Alliance certified. These certifications ensure the fibers used during production come from responsibly managed forests.  Lynx® is manufactured using Elemental Chlorine-free virgin fibers, which adds to the paper’s durability and Domtar’s commitment to the environment. It is produced with 10% to 30% post-consumer recycled content, making it a responsible choice for eco-conscious people and businesses.
